Caskets & Urns

Caskets

What’s the difference between a casket and a coffin? Toe-pincher coffins are six-sided vessels that narrow after the shoulders, and create a diamond-like shape. Caskets are four-sided, creating a rectangle.

Now we know that a pine box casket is not for everyone. Pine Box Funerals also provides caskets from the local industry providers. Contact us to see more.

Shrouds for Burial

A shroud is a simple burial garment. It can be used in place of a casket for natural burial. Shrouds can also be used for cremation, as a final wrapping - a protection from the plastic bag.

We think of shrouding as swaddling our loved ones when they pass; another connection of life to death.
