Enid Patricia Birss
October 04, 1941 — July 15, 2026
Devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on July 15, 2026 surrounded by all of her children. Enid was born in England, raised in Vancouver and Kitimat where she met her husband and best friend, Dave. She spent most of her life in Edmonton and Sherwood Park. She will be sadly missed by her 3 children Christine, Sherri (Ivan) and Randy (Gillian), her 6 grandchildren Alexander, Clinton, Jaclyn, Jennifer (John), Rina and Sam, 2 step grandchildren Tristan and Shannon and 2 great grandchildren Ezekiel and Simeon. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Dave, her sister Darlene and her daughter in law Robin. Enid will be missed dearly by her 2 brothers Eric (Brenda) and Mike (Sharon), sister-in-law Lorna, many nieces, nephews and friends. Enid enjoyed travelling, cheering for her favorite teams (the ones the kids and grandkids were on and the Edmonton Eskimos and Oilers), golfing, family milestone's, her plants, friends, Elvis and happy hour at her lodge.
She is now reunited with her loving husband. We are incredibly grateful for all the years we had with her.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Oct 3, 2026 at 5:30 p.m.
