Denise G. Cheramy
March 27, 1953 - October 07, 2026
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Denise G. Cheramy on October 7, 2026, at the age of 73. Denise passed away at the Cross Cancer Institute, surrounded by the love of so many who were not ready to let her go.
Denise filled her days with creativity, adventure, and thoughtful gifts for the people she loved. Her love of sewing could be seen in her beautiful, much-sought-after quilts. Travels both near and far inspired her passion for photography, and each year she shared those memories through the calendars she lovingly created and sent to family and friends—a tradition that will be deeply missed.
Her sweet treats brought joy to so many, from sugar cookies and homemade chocolates to pavlova and chocolate cheesecake. Many visits also included a bottle of her homemade wine. Denise always seemed to have something on the go, and her generosity made every gathering a little sweeter.
Her cherished friends were part of her daily life. Together, they enjoyed travels, countless dog walks, time at the lake, a shared love of the outdoors, pottery, visits to greenhouses and regular nights out to Mayfield Dinner Theatre. These friendships brought Denise companionship, laughter, and countless treasured memories.
Denise was predeceased by her sister Irene Boucher and brother-in-law Jacques Boucher, and her brother-in-law Lawrie Thibert.
She is lovingly remembered by her siblings Yvette Thibert, Paul Cheramy (Kathy), and John Cheramy (Rosemary).
She will also be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews: Robert Boucher (Lynn), Richard Boucher (Nathalie), Reg Cheramy, Cathy Monkman (Jeff), Jody Greene, Anne-Marie Thibert (Darren), Lawrence Thibert (Angela), Suzanne Berard (Marcel), Joseph Cheramy (Kristi), and Joshua Cheramy (Addie); and her many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Denise treasured every member of her family, and each held a special place in her heart.
