June 07, 2002 - October 26, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Kaleb Joseph Pittet on October 26, 2026, at just 24 years of age.
Kaleb had a way of lighting up every room he entered. With his beautiful blue eyes, unforgettable smile, and warm, easygoing nature, he brought happiness to everyone around him. Incredibly kind, thoughtful, and always polite, Kaleb had a natural ability to connect with people and make them feel welcome. He was a bright light in the lives of those who knew and loved him. He was love.
Exceptionally gifted, Kaleb had a remarkable passion for music, art and reading. A talented drummer, guitarist, pianist, and singer, he loved nothing more than making music and jamming with others. His creativity extended beyond music, with an artistic talent that was evident from a young age. Whether he was playing an instrument, singing, or creating something with his hands, Kaleb had a wonderful ability to express himself through music, art and writing. He was also naturally athletic and enjoyed soccer, skateboarding, rock climbing, lifting weights and anything involving the outdoors.
Kaleb appreciated all the world had to offer. He loved the simple joys of life and was one of the few people who would stop and drink it all in. Whether it was a great cup of coffee, nature’s beauty, sunsets, fishing, movies, games, helping others, or his favorite—spending quality time with all the people he loved—Kaleb knew how to appreciate life’s moments.
Family was everything to Kaleb. He was a loving and devoted brother and son. His gentle nature, kindness, and genuine love for those closest to him were among his most beautiful qualities.
Kaleb shared a special relationship with his girlfriend, Vanessa McGregor, whom he often described as the best thing that ever happened to him. The love and happiness they shared were an important part of his life and were evident to everyone who saw them together.
Kaleb will be forever loved and deeply missed by his father, Heath Pittet; his mother, Lisa Pittet; his siblings, Kristian Pittet (Shalegh), Paige Dover (Hayli and Everly), Ella Pittet, Jacob Pittet, and Liam Pittet; his dog, Jax; his grandparents, Ray and Gail Pittet, and Donal and Gloria Wolff; his girlfriend, Vanessa McGregor—the love of his life—and her family; and his extended family and many friends. We take great comfort that our beautiful boy Kaleb is now looking down on us from heaven until we see him again.
Although his time with us was far too short, the love, laughter, music, and memories Kaleb shared will remain with us always. His beautiful smile will never be forgotten, nor will the light he brought into so many lives.
Just as Kaleb would, we welcome everyone to a Celebration of Life at Abundant Life Church (6111 91 Street NW Edmonton) on Monday, November 2 at 1pm.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts. Until we meet again Kaleb, our beautiful boy.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a mental health or suicide prevention organization, such as Access 24/7, Kickstand, or one of the donor’s choice, are encouraged in Kaleb’s honour
