    Raymond (Ray) Larry Hawkins passed away on February 21, 2026, after a long struggle with dementia.

Ray is survived by his wife, Alta-May; his children, Trevor (Tara), Jeff and Keana; his grandchildren, Madeline, Coralynn, Sheldon, and Jack; his brothers, John and Roy (Margaret); his brother-in-law, Ernest; his sisters-in-law, Laverine and Margaret; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Ethel; his siblings, Margery, George, and Lyle; and his sister-in-law, Maxine.

In keeping with Ray’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. The family will gather privately in Jasper to celebrate his life.
