Ruth Anne Huggard

January 2, 1946 - December 2, 2025

Ruth Anne Huggard (Robertson) passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 79, after a lengthy battle with dementia.

Born on January 2, 1946, in St. Thomas, Ontario, Ruth grew up in Port Stanley, a place she often reflected on throughout her life. She later moved west to Alberta, where she lived in Camrose, Sherwood Park, and Holden over the years.

Ruth is survived by her children, Mike (Naomi) Howard, and Marney (Tom) Lewis-Howard. She leaves behind her grandchildren Ryan, Sarah, Elishia, Brandon, Kristen, Taylor, Dustin, and Jaelyn, as well as many great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Tom, her parents Harold and Ruth Robertson, and her friend later in life, Laurie.

Ruth’s life took her through many chapters, changes, and places. Her passing brings that story to a close, and those who knew her will remember her in their own ways.

As per her wishes, no funeral service will be held. Anyone wishing to acknowledge her memory is welcome to make a donation to a dementia-related organization of their choice.
