Virginia Madeline Guatto

January 2, 1929 - November 9, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Virginia Madeline Guatto of Sherwood Park Alberta on November 9 2025.

Virginia was the daughter of Madeline and Robert Crumb of Windsor Ontario. She was born Jan 2 1929 and grew up in Windsor Ontario.

In her youth she worked as a telephone operator, elevator operator for a department store and as a sales associate.

She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed, knitting, crocheting and reading.  She was also an avid bingo and card player. Completing puzzles and watching game shows and the occasional casino visit were her entertainment.

Even though she hated the water, in her youth she often canoed and camped on riversides in Nova Scotia with her husband and friends.

Virginia is survived by her daughter Patricia Gadbois (Edmond), Son Wayne Guatto. Grandchildren, Christian Gadbois, Susanne Gadbois, Angela Keller.

Great grandchildren, Hunter and Chloe Gadbois, Alexis Gerard, Cheyene and Kaelen Keller, and Mathew and Gavin Keller.

Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband Allan Guatto, her son Thomas, Her parents Madeline & Robert, Her sister Nancy, and her brothers Ronald and Robert.

With Virginia’s passing she will be greatly missed by family and friends.
